I am finally beginning to ramp up on exercise. I ran three miles with the dogs, Allie, and my niece. One mile walking. One mile running. One mile wogging (walking and jogging). I saw my ankle swell up the first night after and some minor soreness. Overall, it is getting better. I know my ankle is weak. I have yet to recover fully from my sprained ankle, circa late July. It is frustrating. I have been trying to do some strengthening exercises.
My latest obsession? Bikram Yoga. I tried it for the first time and I thought I was going to pass out. The first 30 minutes were fine, but the last hour? I was waiting to pass out to get out of it! It was a wonderful experience and I felt terrific when I left. I signed up for my first unlimited month. I know it will help me make the mind and body connections I have been looking for.
I was sore for two days after my first class. Tomorrow I am going back. The class is at 5:30 a.m. until 7:00. Mr. Bear is going in to work a bit later each morning so I can do hot yoga in the morning.
It has been a long time coming, but I am finally starting to put everything together. I have not got on the scale in a really long time, but I know my clothes are not loose. At the same time, I am eating healthier, taking my vitamins, and juicing whenever I can. I feel good about where I am at.
I found an awesome deal Amazon’s local deals and scored 15 sessions of Ballet Barre classes for $120. I have not yet taken a class, but I am excited to take one. I heard from my Twitter/Facebook people that the classes are tough, fun, and amazing. I cannot wait to try it!
Unfortunately, I have been sick for a week now. The cold or flu I got has been kicking my ass non-stop for an entire, excruciating week. There is progress and I am feeling good about everything.
