I have two conferences to go to and I have a billion things to do. Today, I was nearly paralyzed because I have so much to do, I do not know where to start. I have shopping to do. I have lab tests and a doctor’s appointment tomorrow. I have a mid-term tomorrow. What the hell am I going to wear? My business cards turned into a fiasco, although no fault of anyone’s really. They will be delivered on Thursday at the hotel.
I finally got up and started checking tasks off. I put my schedule together for the two conferences I have over the next several days. Overlap much? Yes. Yes, indeed. I have no idea how I am going to swing it all, as there is more to see and do than I can possibly get to see and do before Sunday.
I am nervous. I want to make the most out of the next several days. I am less nervous about meeting new people and making a good impression. I am nervous about making these opportunities count. I know I am going to have fun. I know it will all come together. It has to. Right?
Here are my goals for the next several days:
1. RELAX. Have a good time! Enjoy the break from the mundane.
2. Go with the flow. Plans are flexible. Go with it!
3. Meet as many people as I can—new and old. I have some bloggers in mind that I want to meet.
4. Be a sponge. Try to learn something new, even if the information is familiar.
5. Have fun!
What are your plans for BlogHer if you are going? If you aren’t, what are you going to do these next several days?
