A couple days ago, I was walking into the grocery store, when this 30-something woman was coming out. She was wearing a shirt that hugged her waist and a pair of shorts that fell just below her belly button. While skin was not exposed, the first thing that popped into my head was, “Should you be wearing that? SHEESSH, maybe you should put something on that fits.”
To my dismay, I quickly realized that 30-something was really ME, looking at my own reflection in the glass door. Although I just completed a marathon, I spent the last ten months of last year pregnant and five of those months I was confined to bed rest and it did nothing for my girlish figure and everything for my MOMMY figure.
