I went to the gym with Allie Kat last night. I got dressed in my bathing suit and headed out to the pool—the pool that was closed for cleaning. DOH! I spent 15 or so minutes in the sauna and relaxed.
I got rinsed off, then dressed again to do some treadmill work. I had a great 40 minute speed workout, where I ran for a quarter mile, then cooled down for .15 miles. I alternated that routine for three miles and felt really good.
I went to pick up Allie at the Kid’s Club and discovered my child was throwing toys and pushing other kids. The woman that was there when I picked Allie up was obviously annoyed with her and somewhat of a beeeeeeotch. She asked me to, “PLEASE talk to her,” while rolling her eyes. Yeah, a two year old remembers what happened an hour ago and maybe I should beat her senseless while I am at it. That, at least, seemed to be her attitude toward the situation. It was a bit irritating.
We got the rental rented for the landlords and thankfully, the 25-50 calls a day has stopped for that. The landlords asked me to try to sell their washer, dryer, and refrigerator on Craigslist and I obliged. Now, I have calls coming in for that, since apparently, I have nothing else to be doing right now. I feel obligated to them though, because of breaking the lease and all.
We pick up the keys in eight days. Eight more days.
Allie on Mother’s Day. That kid is always running everywhere she goes! Notice her shirt? It says, “If Mommy’s not happy…Nobody’s happy.” Thank you Denise (my sister).
Throw toys at other kids? Who me? I would never…
