Sunday was the AFC Half Marathon. It starts on the top of the Cabrillo Monument, overlooking the San Diego Harbor, then, it winds its way through quaint Point Loma neighborhoods, next, it follows along the Harbor, through downtown, and finally, up Sixth Avenue (a very steep hill), across the Laurel Street Bridge to Balboa Park. Our doggies are home safe and sound. Someone kept them for three days for no reason at all. We are thankful they are home! We are running the AFC Half Marathon in the morning. We will give a full race report tomorrow!
