*About Laura *

Stay-at-home-mom, Runner, Disgruntled.

Laura Lohr is a wife, mom to a precocious six year old, lifestyle blogger, social media mom, a writer, and San Diegan. She met and fell in love with her best friend when she was 21 years old. She began blogging in 2004, when she embarked on the journey to her first marathon. She found out she was pregnant a month and a half before the marathon and had to postpone running until the following year. She ran her first marathon a mere six months to the day she delivered her first child via c-section.

Since then, she has ran many races and has recently joined the training for a second marathon in June 2012. She was a Special Education teacher at the high school level, until she became a stay-at-home mom for her daughters first five years. While at home, she was busy teaching herself web design, social media, and a variety of other skills. She is currently working part-time in marketing for a local publishing company and loves social media marketing. She is a lover of all things fitness and health.

She is currently on a quest to return to a healthy weight and overcome health obstacles of her own. So, please, grab a cup of coffee, get comfortable, and cheer Laura on as she follows her dreams in her beautiful life.

Hi Laura! Love your site! Visiting from #SITS31DBBB. Congrats on training to run a marathon, what an incredible goal. We're both SoCal mommies trying to lose weight and run- we should connect!

So jealous you are a runner! I wish I could run- the knee surgeries limit the running here. Love that you linked up to the "About Me" link party :)

I know what you mean about the limitations! Running is tough on the body!

Congratulations on the half marathon. I can only run to my fridge!
